After the panel detached, it will be add class "detached", you can use this class to format the panel.
You can open console log (F12) to see the class.

I found that, and the class which is created when the element is detached, I need to know what CSS file do I edit or do I put the CSS code in the ONDETACHED box in the plugin itself? - I want to change the top padding on only ONE element below another that is fixed.

If I dont change the padding then the second element I want fixing below disappears behind the first detached element.

please help as I love this plugin!

Thank you.

You can add css to any css file of your site, it's just normal css, nothing specical.
And JU Sticky Panel only add detached class, it does not change the old class of the panel, so if you want to change nav class: art-nav clearfix detached , you need to edit code of your template.

First... Thank You for all your help as I know this is regarding a FREE joomla add-in, so I am grateful :)

Its a great plugin and does exactly what I want it to.

So, just to clarify what you are saying...

I can add the CSS anywhere... like within my Template CSS as a new line?

The HTML element in firebug gives me:

<nav class="art-nav clearfix detached" style="margin: 0px; left: 241.5px; top: 217px; position: fixed; width: 900px;">
<div class="art-nav-inner">

I have changed within firebug, "top: 217 px" from 10 pixels and this sorts it all out. on the RIGHT in firebug I have the STYLE say:-

element.style {
left: 241.5px;
margin: 0;
position: fixed;
top: 217px;
width: 900px;
}

So, since I am not a CSS code writer I am confused as to what to add to the end of my TEMPLATE.CSS file, I do apologise if I am being a little daft in understanding this and again appreciate your help.

Simon.
