Hi.
I liked the write up of JU Comments and want to use it but I don't know how.

I've installed the component, the plugin and the extension.

The dashboard shows in the Admin section and a link appears below my articles with the hits correctly shown. But....

When I click Comment (0) the page scrolls up and then displays

Leave comment
You are not allowed to add comment

I have trawled through the dashboard and configuration but cannot see where or how to allow guests to post a comment.

I can find no documentation and the tool tips are next to useless, they don't explain why the option is there just what it does and the HTML tags are still visible too!

So, effectively this is not working.

Please a simple explanation is all I need to get going. If it works well I'll buy. C'mon guys, give us some clues

Chas

Well I've now worked out that Registered users can login and post a comment but then Guests can edit the title of the comment the EDIT COMMENT button is visible to guests.

So I went to Backend permissions, unchecked MANAGE and DELETE for the Public group but when saved, the permissions were reinstated.

Not looking good is it?

EDIT, the check boxes in the first three columns recheck themselves but the actual permissions in the other columns do remain unchecked. Confusing. To reinstate you have to click them twice.
